Paul W Quantz BA, LLB.
Paul graduated from the University of Alberta Law School in 1974. He has carried on a solicitor's practise for most of his career in the areas of Real Estate, Wills and Estates, and Corporate /Commercial law. Paul is the senior counsel of the firm, anchoring a growing firm of young and energetic lawyers and dedicated staff. He practices mainly in the area of Commercial Real Estate, Wills and Estates, and Corporate/Commercial Law. He has practised mainly in the Northern Alberta communities of Lac La Biche and Athabasca, and formerly in Red Deer and Manitoba.
He is active in the community, serving in his church and with the Saint City Rotary Club.
Paul is a avid golfer of the "duffer" variety, and enjoys fishing and the great outdoors.
Cary Feng BSC, B.Comm, LLB.
Cary was born and raised in Edmonton. She attended the University of Alberta, Edmonton, earning degrees in science and commerce prior to graduating from U of A Law School in 2002. Cary articled with a firm in St. Albert and has continued practising in the community since being admitted to membership in the Law Society of Alberta.
Cary is active in the community and business world. She has been a resident of St. Albert since 2004 and loves the sense of community and the facilities available in St. Albert.
Cary's preferred area of practice is in the areas of Corporate and Commercial Law, Wills and Estates. She also has a growing Real Estate portfolio. As real estate transactions have become increasingly complex and time sensitive, Cary can provide the buyers and sellers with the advice and legal tools necessary to ensure the satisfactory completion of a deal.
She looks forward to serving her clients and the community of St Albert and surrounding areas.
Curtis Ready BA (Hons) LLB.
Curtis was born and raised in Edmonton. He took his undergraduate degree in Political Science before entering Law School.
Curtis graduated from the University of Alberta Law School in 2006 and articled with Stonhouse and Downie before joining Quantz Law Group in 2007.
Curtis' preferred area of practice is Family Law, and he is a member of the Family Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association. Curtis has much experience litigating family matters in court, including an appearance at the Alberta Court of Appeal. He is also a certified Collaborative Family Lawyer and a member of the Collaborative Lawyers Association of America.
Paula Kinoshita BEd, MA, LLB.
Paula was born in Edmonton and has made her way back home again after living for some time in the U.S.
Prior to entering the law profession, she was a teacher, advocating for the joys of English prose to junior high and the college students - not an easy sell. Paula has transferred her passion for teaching, study, and advocacy to the legal profession. She believes her teaching background has put her in good stead.
Paula was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 2010. Her preferred areas of practice are Litigation, Corporate Law, and Estate Planning & Probating.
Paula loves camping with her family. She can experience her favourite things in the "rugged" outdoors: swimming, wake-boarding, vanquishing opponents at Scrabble, reading, hiking, and drinking camp coffee. Paula is a member of the St. Albert Saint City Rotary Club. She also teaches English as a Second Language. Paula loves to recommend good literature - just ask her.
